Overplay Android Installation Guide -

Although there is no Overplay Android application, you can follow our instructions to install and run Overplay VPN with PPTP and L2TP on your Android device. We'll show you how easy it is to configure their service using PPTP on Android. In a few simple steps you can be up and running with their VPN. Similarly to their customers, you can find the link to manually configure PPTP and L2TP with your Android device on the VPN configuration page of their website by selecting "Configuration -> VPN Configuration" from the main menu of sites. Once you get to this page, click on the Android button (shown left). You must click in the circle or on the name. This will load the Android page step by step installation for PPTP and L2TP.

Below is a simple set of instructions for configuring VPN Overplay on your Android device using PPTP with embedded images.

1) Press the menu button and select " Settings "
2) Press " More Settings "
3) Press " VPN "

These three steps are illustrated below.


4) Press " Add VPN network "
5) Press the " like " drop down menu
6) Choose " PPTP "

    • In the " name " field enter the desired name for your connection. We recommend that you name the :. Overplay (PPTP)
    • In the " Server Address " enter the IP address or server Overplay VPN server you want to connect. (To locate available servers, click the link on the page Overplay servers on their website or the configuration page we previously directed you.)
    • Let the PPP encryption (MPPE) enabled
    • Press the " Save " button.

steps 5 and 6 are shown in the first image below.

7) Press the new connection to log in. Enter your Overplay username and password sent by email and press Connect . This is shown in the middle image above. the final image above shows the state of our VPN connection. from there, we can disconnect from our VPN Overplay current session. as you can see, setting up your Android device to connect to the network VPN using PPTP Overplay is easy.

Although we have shown you how to configure PPTP with your Android device, we recommend you first try to connect using L2TP. Instructions for doing this can be found on the site Overplay. The main differences are in step 6, you can choose L2TP / IPSec PSK to type and then you enter "overplay.net" without quotes in the IPsec pre-shared key field . Leave the other fields blank. Only use PPTP to connect if the L2TP fails.
