the worst part of the trip is to find the best deals. Of course, there are good comparison websites today that could save you some money. It can take hours, sometimes to sift through all the options out there, and at the end you just frustrated you see how prices rise in tandem with the amount of time spent looking for tickets. It always feels like there is something wrong with the price. Well, the fact is: something fishy is really going on

Sometimes go ticket prices by a hundred dollars or these impressive notes you found were simply been sold before had the time to click on Book . The most likely reason is that they try to make you act quickly, before prices rise even more. And of course, sometimes it works, at least on fools like me. Hopefully the guys at Expedia and Kayak are not reading this, fingers crossed

Now, exactly how to save money on airline tickets using SaferVPN:

Here is an example I just found out today when searching for flights. I first noted in the American version of Kayak.com and sought flights from Los Angeles (LAX) to Melbourne (MEL) on January 1st to 8th, 2015, I quoted US $ 1,842. See for yourself:

flight1

So I just changed my online identity by connecting to SaferVPN server in Brazil (because flights are sometimes quite cheap from Brazilian sites), and was the exact same results - see the airline, date and time is still. It is in Portuguese, but the result:

flight2

(Note: I pasted the Google rate of exchange). See for yourself, you might save money on flights around US $ 475 if you were to book your flight from Brazil rather than the United States! This is just one of many examples of how you can use a VPN to save money on plane tickets, so be sure to comparison shop next time.

One of our customers happy also able to save money on flights, this is what he had to say:

How travel companies know your location

what are the ways that websites can determine your position:

IP address: An Internet Protocol (IP) is essentially your "address" unique on the Internet, as sites where you are. With SaferVPN, you get a new IP address from a different place, so the travel website can not really see where you are located

Cookies: Remember that article we wrote recently on tracking cookies ? They are part of the reason why prices change especially for you. As travel sites feeling you do multiple searches for the same request, they simply increase the price of the flight

GPS portable devices :. Websites can use the GPS in your mobile or tablet can see where you are, then use it to determine the price to offer

WiFi :. If you browse through a local network, websites can track your location if you give your permission. Connect to one of SaferVPN servers to hide your real position and take advantage of the best deals

coding Geo-Location on the websites: With HTML5 coding, Web sites can track your position even on your computer. Bypass this monitoring by connecting to SaferVPN to obtain a new IP address.

In short , point of sale and the currency of payment will affect the price you end up paying for your tickets. Travel companies basically use your data and location to determine how much to charge you. Prices vary depending on geographic location, even if you are looking at exactly the same date and flight!

So what is the solution for the cheapest airline tickets?

It might come as a surprise to some, but VPN can actually help you save money on your travels . There are several ways to do this:

1. Change your virtual nationality

By obtaining an IP address from another country, you can trick sites flight you are based elsewhere. Use SaferVPN to get a new anonymous IP address of another country . Usually, the move towards a low-income countries can do the trick. Consider changing to an IP address in the country where the airline is based. So if you are traveling with the Brazilian airline TAM, become a Brazilian IP address and chances are that prices will be lower. Remember that prices always fluctuate, so you should test each time to see where the best deals are at this point in time.

2. Change Ip, even in your own country

As explained above, when the flight sites see that you're looking for the same flights several times from the same IP address, they go up the price. Simply log on to one of SaferVPN servers, even in your own country. Then navigate to your favorite flying site and you can instantly see prices fall back to where they started.

3. Clear your cookies

Whether clear or disable your cookies and travel Web sites can not track your online identity. Also use private mode of your browser to prevent it from storing cookies. However, you can still be traced by your IP address if you are not using a VPN to get a new one.

4. Use the international versions of sites

As explained above, prices differ by which the location of a web site you use. It might in some cases help navigate version of another country of it, say the UK (.co.uk), French (.fr) or Canadian (.ca) versions as examples. However, if the site Travel is monitoring your IP address, you still will not get cheaper, because they could automatically redirect you to your local store. Use SaferVPN to browse any localized version as if you were there!

Update March 15, 2015

I made a call to customer service for United to see their views on the profit-taking of foreign price differentials to book flights. The beautiful representative of customer service are recognized they post different prices in different countries and the different travel agents (ie Kayak) have different prices. In addition, they work with various accredited travel agents in different countries, and this is an important reason for price differences.

I specifically requested VPN, and she said there was nothing in their contract of carriage against the use of a VPN. I even told her I'm looking on the Brazilian site United by my VPN and she told me that I can book this flight without worries.

I went to the Kayak email. com, here our correspondence:

Kayak's Response to booking flights with VPN inquiry

As you can see, neither the airline nor the travel agent has anything against the use a VPN to buy tickets at a cheaper price.

that said, I want to emphasize a point.

I spoke with United, they offer different prices for agents and different countries travel, this is not a small problem, it is just that prices vary from place to place 'other. They also said that it is quite legitimate to use a VPN to book a flight to another location.

In e-commerce today, all online retailers use some kind of pricing segmentation to benefit from the increased purchasing power, but with a VPN, you can jump between different price segments
