The Brazilian government has decided to block Facebook messaging app, WhatsApp in response to the company not to cooperate with a criminal investigation. - Select a server location. We chose Atlanta because of low latency, but IPVanish has many servers located around the United States. As long as you choose a US-based server, you will be able to use WhatsApp.
- We recommend that you select OpenVPN (TCP) or (UDP). Since you'll be streaming the games you want to use OpenVPN (UDP). They also support PPTP and L2TP, but we always recommend OpenVPN for the best protection of privacy.
- Click Connect. After a few seconds you'll see the button in the right top corner to change from red to "Disconnect" and show green. Once you are logged in, you'll also notice the server location and IP address appear at the top of the client.
- We located in the United States in so far as anyone can tell online. Because of this, we can arrive at a site, as if we were in Atlanta. The same would be true if we connected to a server in the UK or elsewhere.
And there you have it. It's that simple. You now have unrestricted access to an application or service that is normally available in the United States, because you connected to a server there. If you want to watch something like BBC iPlayer outside the UK, you can follow the same process.
