NordVPN Installation Guide Android -

You can download the latest NordVPN Android app version of Google Play. This will give you access to their network on your favorite Android devices. The NordVPN site includes configuration guides if you prefer to manually configure Android OpenVPN, L2TP / IPsec and PPTP.

Visit the page of the application NordVPN Google Play to download and install the Android app to your device. The application requires Android 4.0 or higher. Once you are on the Google Play Store, tap the "Install" button to begin the installation as shown in this screen capture the first below. After starting the installation, you will see a screen like the second. Press the "Accept" button so that the installation can continue as in the third screen.

Once installation is complete, you will see a screen like the last above. Press the "Open" button to launch the app for the first time.

The first time the aunches software will require you to enter your credentials NordVPN. Tapping on "Connection" on the first screen below will open the second screen where you can enter your NordVPN "Username" and "Password". Tapping "New to NordVPN?" Takes you to create an account NordVPN.

Once you have entered your credentials, as was the third capture screen above and press the "Connect" button to complete the launch of the Android application. This will bring up the screen "Server map" which is shown in the first screen in the image below. This screen allows you to zoom in and out and drag the map in any direction. This is shown in the second screen shows a zoomed view in North America and the third screen that shows the Oceania region. The "Server map" represents the network NordVPN graphically on the map as a series of blue markings in different countries. The switch is gray and in its "Off" indicating that you are not connected to the network.

Connecting to a VPN server from the server map screen is easy, just push a pin in the country you want to connect. For example, press the pin US on the server board shown in the second screenshot above screen. You will see a screen like the one shown on the left in the image below. By tapping the pin to the United States displays a prompt to connect. Now press the button "Yes" to complete the connection.

Since this is the first time you have connected to NordVPN service, the Android operating system displays a message of confidence. Press "I hope this application" and then "OK" to confirm that you trust NordVPN After that, you will see a screen like the third highest that says. "Connected to the United States." Note, both the switch and the location of pin are now green indicating that you are connected to NordVPN network. Zoom on the map and you can see that you are connected to a VPN server in the United States, as indicated in the last screenshot. Now, suppose you want to change the server to a VPN server in Canada. Just tap on the axis of the location in Canada. This will result in a screen similar to the one shown on the left in the image below. Now press the button "Yes" to start the VPN server of the change process. It will first log out of your current server as shown in the second screenshot, then start connecting your new server as described in the third.

Zoom to show that you actually spend a VPN server in the United States to one in Canada. the last thing we want to look to the screen of the server board is how to connect to a specific server in a country to use it. Let us illustrate this by connecting to a VPN server in France .

First slide left for Europe on the map interface and zoom in France. you should see a screen similar shot to the one shown on the left below. Note that you are always connected to a Canadian VPN server. Now, instead of typing on the axis of the site for France, long hold by placing your finger on it and leaving it until you see a screen like the one below below the second. This list shows each server number, percentage of load, and the distance from your location.

This will result in a screen as shown above third. Finally complete the connection to the server # 3 in France by tapping the button to the right of it. After the application disconnects from Canada, it then connects to the VPN Sever No. 3 in France. The last screen above shows that you are now "Connected to France."

Now that we have looked at the "Map Server" screen and the ways you can connect to a VPN server running, we examine the NordVPN Android application menu. This menu can be found in the upper left corner of the application and is designated by three horizontal bars. Press the menu now. You should see a screen like the one below left. Notice, you are always connected to the VPN server in France. This menu contains the following items on it:

• countries - This opens a list of countries in alphabetical order that you can connect to which we will discuss in more detail only. moment
• My Account -. This will open a screen that will allow you to extend your current subscription or visit NordVPN website to change your password
• Full list of servers - This will show you a complete list server including dedicated servers. We will examine this in more detail later in this review
• Your comments -. This will allow you to compose an email to support@nordvpn.com with feedback to the Android client. The subject is prefilled with Android Beta
• Live Chat - .. This will open a live chat session with a support professional NordVPN
• Use TCP - This will set the application to use TCP instead of UDP when he can. Note this could slow the connection
• Log out -. This disconnect from the application. Remember if you sign up, you must re-enter your credentials the next time you launch the application.

Now that we have considered all the menu items, let us take a look at the two that can be used to establish VPN connections: the country and the complete list of the server. Tap the "list server" and you will see a screen similar to the second. This is the "My favorites" list and as you can see a favorite that you saved earlier, France # 3. Now type . on the "All servers" This tab contains a list of servers for purposes that include the following: Anti-DDoS, IP dedicated server, Double VPN, standard VPN servers, VPN Tor, and ultra TV -Quick. tapping on one of these will display a list of servers that you can connect to achieve this goal. This is followed by a list of countries in alphabetical order. These are presented in the last two screenshots below.

The best way for you to find a server to connect from a particular country is to use research. Say you wanted to find a server with a low percentage of charge in Germany. Tap the magnifying glass at the top of the screen and type "Germany", without the quotes. This will display a list of all servers in Germany and you can quickly find one with a low percentage of load as shown in this screen capture the first below.

The first screen above, press to make Germany a favorite No. 1 you have made France # 3 earlier, then press the switch to connect. This will bring up a screen similar to the second. Finally, press the menu, and all server lists. If you did everything correctly, your screen should look like the last capture screen above.

The last thing we want to examine in our review of the Android application is NordVPN the Smart-Play. To use it, first make sure you are connected to a VPN server on the network NordVPN. The last screenshot, you can see that you are connected to Germany # 1. The return to the server board which is displayed as the first screenshot below, you can see that you are "Connected in Germany. The NordVPN staff made it very easy for their customers to connect to their network with their new Android application. Simply select a location on the map, and then connect to it.
