- The Master is one of the four major golf tournaments on the PGA Tour. Unlike other majors, the Masters Tournament has the distinction of being always played on the same course, the Augusta National Golf Club. Another distinction is the domain of only about 0 golfers they allow. Because of this, everyone starts at the first tee. In 2016, the first two rounds will be played on April 7th to 8th and as usual, the last 2 rounds will be played on 9 and 10. The Masters is always exciting, and you can see the world with a VPN.

The Augusta National Golf Club is steeped in traditon. The course was designed by legendary golf course designer, Bobby Jones in 1934. As its name suggests, the course is located in Augusta, Georgia on the former Indigo Plantation. It has long been known as one of the top courses in the world, and the winner receives a green blazer as a symbolic demonstration that he is a member of the club's honor.

2016 is sure to be an exciting year for the tournament. Last year winner Jordan Speith tournament equaled the record set by Tiger Woods in 1997. Speith shot an incredible 18 under par for a total of 270. The question is, will he be able to repeat this task, or will someone like Mc IIroy be able to take the green jacket this year? Tune in to find out.

How to use a VPN to watch the Masters tournament

now, we'll use IPVanish as our example of how to watch the tournament all using a VPN. Start by downloading the client software. IPVanish offer stand-alone software for Windows, Mac and Linux, along with applications for iOS and Android.

After downloading and running the software, go ahead and connect. Start by running the client IPVanish and choose a server location. If that sounds complicated, we will take you through a step by step procedure.

  • Choose a server location. We chose Atlanta, but IPVanish has a large network of servers located around the world.
  • We recommend that you choose OpenVPN (TCP) or (UDP). For streaming of the tournament, you want to use OpenVPN (UDP). They also support PPTP and L2TP, but we recommend using OpenVPN for better protection of privacy
  • Click Connect. Soon you will see the button in the upper right corner to turn "Disconnect" and show green. You will also notice the server location and IP address appear at the top of the client.
  • As you can see, we are now in the United States, and we can reach a site like we were in Atlanta. The same would be true if we connected to a server in the UK or elsewhere.

That's all there is to it. Now that you have an IP address of a server in the US, you can surf the Internet as much as you want. The same is true of any country. You can also connect to a server in the United States to broadcast services like Pandora.

As you can see, a good VPN will open access to content worldwide. If you live outside the US, the VPN service will help you look popular streaming services like Sling TV. You would still need an account, but you can look like you're in the US, or any other area you want to access
