iPhone bug affects Accident Twitter and Snapchat -

unfixed bug was found in iOS that causes the device to crash and reboot, from a single line of text. The problem is caused by some Chinese characters or Arabic that can be sent via text to another device or through SMS, Twitter or Snapchat. Once the recipient opens the offending message, the, iPad, Mac, iPhone or other iOS device crashes and restart, no way to fix it. Each time the user would enter the affected application, the device will again crash and reboot, with no easy way to rectify the problem. Like the iPhone crash bug affects Snapchat and Twitter, users are notified of malicious code.

Apple has since released a patch for the problem with text messages, using Siri to respond to the message, and then be able to remove it. But as Twitter and Snapchat, there was no solution for now, the only way to avoid this kind of messages to be received is turning off notifications. Developers will be releasing a software update that will fix the bug, but until then, people were warned to receive text messages with characters causing glitch.

Apple has faced a series of glitches with their iOS last year, but these problems are not only shipped to Apple, as Samsung have had serious problems with the Android software and Galaxy flagship smartphone.
