ibVPN Speed Test
I decided to test the speed of ibVPN using OpenVPN for the magazine. First I tested my speed without VPN, and then again when connected to a server ibVPN located near Washington, DC. I used the ultimate VPN account and was very impressed with the performance.
As you can see, there was a 20% difference in speed between the direct connection to my ISP and connect the server ibVPN near Washington, DC . Encryption adds overhead so you can expect some decrease in performance. There is a compromise to a higher level of privacy.
