This is my review of VPNSecure.me which is VPN.S Secure Networks brand that started in the area of security in 2011. They are located in Queensland, Australia. Their goal is to provide users with an open and secure internet. The accomplish this, they offer VPN services, SSH and HTTP proxy. These services will help maintain your privacy, anonymity and security while surfing the Internet. In addition, they also have an intelligent DNS service that will allow you to watch the contents of some of your favorite streaming media channels by removing troublesome geo-blocks on them.
Prices and Offers
VPNSecure provides a number of services including VPN, SSH (encrypted proxy) HTTP proxy (no encryption - just an address IP), and Smarter DNS. A VPN encrypts all traffic and pass it through a secure tunnel. SSH on the other hand, will create a secure tunnel only for applications that you configure for use. It is often called the "poor VPN." HTTP proxy simply acts as an intermediary between you and the Internet so your IP is hidden.
VPNSecure Service
VPN.S offers many different plans for the services they provide. First, they have a basic OpenVPN plan. This plan includes applications for mobile devices, access to all VPN servers in 41 countries worldwide, the OpenVPN protocol, the HTTP proxy access, and smarter DNS access. It is marketed using three packs of different length which include term 1 month, 6 months and 12 months. They also have a free 30 days OpenVPN plan that limits your usage of 2GB.
Like others, we looked, VPNSecure offer more monthly discount on their OpenVPN that long-term increases. Therefore, you can get a few months of service for $ 9.95 a month, 6 months for $ 8.30 per month and 12 months for only $ 7.50 per month. Therefore, if you sign up for a year, it's like getting three months of service free . They also offer a plan that includes OpenVPN and PPTP you can get for only $ 9.16 per month. If you need it, they also have OpenVPN and SSH socks plans that have dedicated IP addresses for about $ 10.00 more a month.
The following is a subset of the other service plans they offer in addition to their standard plan. Only the plan is a PPTP encrypted VPN plan. Also, you must not have used more than 50 MB of bandwidth. VPNSecure provides test accounts to their standard VPN OpenVPN, PPTP OpenVPN + services. These accounts are $ 2.00 for 2 days of service. Privacy and security
VPNSecure a no journal Privacy Policy. They say "our policy: NO LOGGING VPN not now, not ever .." Their position on your privacy is summarized by the following excerpt from their privacy policy

VPNSecure Pty Ltd or not you monitor your use of the Service, including its contents, without your prior consent unless VPNSecure Pty Ltd has reason to believe that such action is necessary to: (1) conform to legal requirements or with legal process; (2) protect and defend the rights or property of VPNSecure Pty Ltd (3) applying the Agreement; or (4) protect the interests of its other Members.
As for the security of your information on the Internet and browsing habits, VPN.S has that covered too. They offer only a few protocols, including PPTP and OpenVPN to encrypt all your online traffic and keep all your online transactions from prying eyes. Their standard service uses OpenVPN protocol OpenSSL whose data is protected by encryption DES-CBC 128-bit 2048 bit keys used for the control channels in the connection. Their SSH service uses TCP protocol OpenVPN with a similar level of encryption. This offer their user safety and the privacy while using their service. PPTP uses 128-bit encryption and is used mainly in cases where OpenVPN can not be used or for streaming media where speed is of greater concern than security. Hands-On Testing
No review would be complete without the hands on testing. I would start by saying that VPNSecure performed well in our speed test. They custom software for Windows, Mac and Linux. They also have customized applications for mobile devices such as iOS (iPhone, iPad) and Android. This makes it easy for almost anyone to use their service, regardless of their operating system of choice. You can download the software for Windows and Mac directly from their website by accessing their dowload page. Place the mouse pointer over the media in the main menu of the website and click the download button that appears as shown below.
This page contains links to Windows Apple - Mac Linux and Android / iOS at the bottom of the page. Clicking one of these will change the options presented above links. Selecting one of these options will start the process of downloading the software. This is shown in the illustration below with the selected Windows operating system.
Log from Windows
As you can see in the above image, VPNSecure has a variety of custom software for Windows, which includes a customer OpenVPN , a Smarter DNS customer, Socks5 proxy SSH client, and Chrome HTTP proxy extension. Clicking OpenVPN client in the above image will download the client on your machine where you can run and install it. Once installed, you will be able to connect and disconnect at any server in the network VPNSecure with just a few clicks. Their Windows VPN GUI is clean looking with some settings and very friendly. It can also be adapted by more experienced users.
When you install the client or if you log out, you will see a screen similar connection to the first capture screen above. Once you enter your Username and Password to your account and click Log in, will be taken to the screen connection, as shown in the second image. By clicking the Triple Horizontal Bar icon in the upper left corner of the screen shows the sliding menu to quickly switch screens as shown in the third image. Click Log in this menu will bring back the login screen (the second image above). Connecting to a server is as simple as clicking on your chosen server and selecting Connect pop up. The last image shows a connection to a server in the UK. To disconnect a server simply repeat the process and select Disconnect . As you can see, it is very easy to change the VPNSecure servers with Windows software. Click Settings in the sliding menu above to open the settings screen that has check boxes and buttons to the following:

Connect iPhone or iPad
VPNSecure also has an application for the iPhone, iPad and iTouch. The application requires iOS 4.3 or later and is optimized for iPhone 5. Apple iOS users who also use a desktop operating system to connect to the service will appreciate that the application has the same look and feel their desktop clients. The application has a graphical interface similar to Windows and Mac clients, without quite as many features. He also has more related options.
The images above show the iOS app in action on an iPhone. The screenshot on the left of the application's login screen just after login. It contains the same clean user interface. Cconnecting or disconnecting the VPN server only requires a few taps. The image on the left above shows the basic connection screen on the connection. The central image shows the menu of the sliding screen accessed by pressing the Triple Horizontal Bar icon in the upper left corner of the image. The last image shows the application connected to the VPN server in Singapore. The sliding menu has a account additional tab not found in the desktop client. The other tabs are similar to their desktop counterparts. VpNSecure also has a manual guide to configure PPTP for iOS devices.
Log in to Android devices
Similarly to the Windows and Mac app, my examination revealed that Android application for VPNSecure also uses OpenVPN protocol connect to servers. It supports Android 4.0 or later. This application can help keep your wi-fi connection more secure by encrypting all your Android Internet traffic and pass it all through a secure tunnel.
The figure above shows some screenshots of the action implemented. The first is the login screen. Once you enter your Username Password and click the Log button , the login screen is shown above center is displayed. The last screen shows the application connected to an OpenVPN server UDP Portugal. Like the iOS app, all that is needed to choose the servers is a few simple strokes. VPNSecure Speed test
VPNSecure actually pretty good on our speed test. The speed of the server in Washington, DC was good. You should be satisfied with the speed of their network according to our tests. This test was run using their Windows client with OpenVPN UDP.
As you can see, there were about 29% speed difference between connecting directly to my ISP and the connection to a server in Washington DC As expected them was some loss of connection speed, but for extra security provided by you data encryption and connection it is worth the loss of speed. With speeds of nearly 25 Mbps, the service is still fast enough for all your Internet needs. You will have no problem using their service to secure your transactions or stream media from your favorite provider
VPNSecure Review :. Conclusion
VPNSecure was in space for privacy since 2011. They have a network of more than 53 servers that cover 41 countries. They have no newspaper policy, but they do seem to suggest in their privacy policy that they could connect if they have sufficient provocation. They custom software for Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android that makes it easy for their users to use their VPN service. They have support for OpenVPN and PPTP. - Embed PPTP or other protocols in their custom software
- Add more channels supported in their intelligent DNS
My review of VPN.S service found a site that was easy to navigate. The GUI of custom software is very user friendly as it was concise and easy to use with a minimum of parameters. They make it easy to select, connect or reconnect with their VPN servers with a click or two, no matter what OS or device you choose to use.
