Netflix Users Deny Blocking VPN -

After many users experienced loss of service with Netflix, it quickly became apparent that this was due to clients connecting via a VPN, as a way to circumvent regional restrictions. Fearing this could be a change in the policy of Netflix, which could make moves to try to block those using a VPN as a way to content outside their own country streaming. But Netflix denies blocking VPN users. Instead, the streaming service said it has not changed, there are policies to prevent unauthorized access of content via changing IP addresses. He has always taken steps to prevent such circumvention working.

Using a VPN is not technically illegal, but access to TV shows and movies in countries that do not have the license for them is. This is of course, not useful for those who travel for work or even those who just visit another country and like to use a VPN to access their Netflix account abroad.

The first Netflix libraries vary as widely as some shows and movies that are available in the United States are not in the UK. Eg Twin Peaks, David Lynch show, is only available for users of Netflix in America. So if a paying customer is out of the country, why can not they use a VPN to change their "virtual location?

If Netflix does in fact apply a ban on free VPN services, so it will only serve to hurt because they will certainly lose a lot of paying customers. Yet another reason why the international copyright does not work in this day and age, internet should be free for everyone.
