GlobalWebIndex an independent research group recently published a report on the use of social media in China. They conducted an online survey in the language of Mandarin used in Mainland China, and posed the question: "Which of the following services have you used or contributed last month"
Research has shown that 63.52 million people use Facebook in China , about 15% of the population use Facebook of China. This is a considerable increase compared to the same research it 3 years ago in 09, found that only 8% of China's on Facebook (or 7.9 million people, respectively). the research also showed that 65% of Facebook users in China are male, 76% are below 34 years and 69% have a graduate degree.
