How to use the incognitco mode and clear cache on Mozilla Firefox -

We recently showed how to use the incognito mode, hide clear and disable location services for Safari (Mac OS), Google Chrome and Internet Explorer.

for users of Mozilla Firefox, there are many options and ways to conceal your location and protect your privacy.

First, let's take a look at the built -in the options that are available in Firefox

When you open the "Tools" menu, you will see two important options :.

Start Private Browsing (CTRL + SHIFT + P)
This is the so-called " incognito ". This prevents the browser from caching data (cookies, temporary files, cached images, web sites, etc.) and to use data previously cached that can reveal your location or recognize you.

you can use this to test if a website crashes or locate you using cached data.

Clear Recent History (CTRL + SHIFT + DEL)
This option opens a window that asks the history items that you want to delete (click "Details" )

those you are concerned with are:
- cookies
- Cache
- Offline data website
- Site Preferences

once you've done that, you will have successfully deleted all the data that Web sites can use to see if you have already visited or reveal your location, using the cached data.

Now, let's take a look at the options related to Firefox.

in the menu, select " tools " - ". options ">. to get to the window you can see on the right

Then select the "] Life ["tab[1945004

We have some interesting options here that we can use to protect our privacy:

Tell websites I do not want to be followed (check this)
Firefox : use custom settings for history
always use the private browsing mode : keep checked, you can simply activate manually
stay navigation and download history : it does not matter , that websites can not access this data
Remember the research and the history of the form : it does not matter, that websites can not access this data
Accept cookies websites unchecking increasing privacy, but many websites have problems when cookies are disabled. You can uncheck this option (disable cookies) for test purposes
Accept cookies :. As above. Instead of disabling cookies everywhere, it is recommended to use "incognito" to prevent the browser to use / store the cookies
Clear history when Firefox closes :. Enabling this option has the advantage that all the cookies and temporary files will be removed when Firefox is closed. Then you can simply restart Firefox to ensure that Web sites can not follow you via cookies or other types of cached data.
