We are excited to release the new version of Hide My Ass! VPN Client v2.8.3.1 (for Windows) and get it into the hands of our users. This is our last major release and it contains several improvements and new design "selection of country."
New features
- Our new country selection design now enables you to the list of servers that
all servers: Choose a location, and all available servers are listed

locations: the servers are clustered in places - We've also added a search box for "select country". For example, when you type in the letter "A" in the search box, the server list are filtered and only servers beginning with the letter "A" are displayed in the list.
- When you select "Connect to server random" the system decides which server is least loaded in a place or city. Once you have done a speed test, server system groups based on the following criteria; servers with the fastest ping, and servers with the fastest download.
- 10 closest servers based on geographical distance
- The client is supported on the latest Windows operating system, 8.1
improvements
- the results of the test Ping faster and faster test results Download Speed are saved when the client is closed. The test results are loaded and displayed on the country selection screen when the client is restarted.
- Improved connectivity for PPTP VPN
