federal-reserve While the world was busy indulging in the Super Bowl this weekend, Anonymous is occupied with the next phase of their campaign OpLastResort, namely piracy in the Federal reserve (which confirmed the result of violation) and leaking personal data of 4,000 bank employees.

As the Ravens were on their way to a super tight victory Bowl, Anonymous posted a tweet that read: "now we have your American attention 4k Banker Commercial Superbowl dox Anonymous via EDF ", accompanied by a link to the Centre Alabama criminal justice information (ACJIC) that once hosted the information list. The list was quickly removed (although is available to be seen elsewhere ....) And ACJIC declined to comment.

The file itself contains the phone numbers, names, log in details (albeit with encrypted passwords) and IP addresses of the 4,000 employees who were going to cashiers to bank presidents. Phone calls to several numbers and research in banks seemed to confirm that the information is accurate and current.

The operation of OpLastResort Anonymous requires reform in the prosecution of computer crime, something which has been largely kick by the suicide of the Internet activist Aaron Swartz.
